American Veterans (AmVets) is the nation’s oldest and largest service group chartered by the US Congress. It is open to veterans from every branch of service and exists to assist them with all aspects of their lives from disability claims to finding a job. There are 58 chapters in Wisconsin, the closest one being AmVets Post 724 in Rhinelander serving vets in Oneida County and the surrounding area.
Members of Post 724 have volunteered at the Three Lakes Shootout for the past five years, assisting with traffic control, food service, and parking.
